Egyptian Logistics Startup Mylerz has funded more than USD 2 million in debt and equity to expand its fulfilment and last-mile delivery operations in Egypt.
Lorax Capital Partners led the investment, which also included Egyptian fintech firm Fawry and a group of previous investors.
Founded in 2019 by Samer Gharaibeh, the Cairo-based company provides end-to-end e-commerce logistics services, including fulfilment and last-mile delivery. At the heart of the firm is a patented technology platform that provides online merchants with a single dashboard for managing shipments and day-to-day logistical operations.
The fresh cash is expected to strengthen the company’s balance sheet and working capital position. Mylerz intends to use the funds to expand its fulfillment infrastructure, increase the capacity of its delivery network, and deepen investment in the technological stack that underpins its same-day and next-day delivery services.
The increase comes as Egypt’s e-commerce sector continues to grow, placing pressure on logistics companies to expand the warehouse and delivery capacity required to meet merchant demand. Mylerz’s new funding enables the company to capture more of that growth as online shopping matures across the country.
