Singapore-Based AI Startup Expands into South Africa to Transform Enterprise Finance

Cogniviti Labs (C-Labs), a Singapore-based AI and digital transformation startup that specializes in next-generation procurement and finance solutions, announced today its entrance into South Africa as part of its worldwide growth strategy.

The launch delivers C-Labs’ award-winning AI-powered enterprise solutions and digital transformation experience to South African businesses looking to modernize procurement, finance, and business processes.

C-Labs, founded in Singapore, has grown rapidly, establishing operations in Singapore (HQ and delivery centre), India (delivery centre), and Indonesia (delivery centre), with Australia, the United Kingdom, and South Africa also joining. C-Labs, founded by practitioners rather than traditional software consultants, combines the strategic rigour of global consulting with deep operational expertise, bringing together leaders who have designed and delivered large-scale digital transformation programs for some of the world’s most complex organizations.

Manav Sachdeva, a well-known ProcureTech and digital transformation expert with over two decades of experience in procurement innovation, automation, and technology-led transformation, will oversee the African business. C-Labs South Africa will be led by a local sales and delivery team based in Johannesburg, with support from the group’s established delivery centers in Singapore and India, providing South African clients with global experience while maintaining local responsibility.

C-Labs, a global implementation and transformation partner for some of the world’s leading SaaS platforms, including Coupa and OneStream, offers proven capabilities across the entire transformation cycle, from strategy and solution design to implementation, adoption, and continuous innovation. According to Sachdeva, the South African business would first focus on three key offerings:

1. Enterprise Procurement and Finance Transformation with Coupa

Coupa has named C-Labs its New International Breakout Partner of the Year 2026, and the company will enable end-to-end Coupa source-to-pay transformation that goes beyond technology deployment. Its methodology includes operational model design, solution development, change management, and the deployment of Coupa AI agents to ensure that organizations get demonstrable economic value out of their digital investments.

2. Unique AI solutions

C-Labs has created its own set of AI-powered expenditure Analytics and Master Data Management solutions, which convert complicated, fragmented expenditure and master data into actionable intelligence.

“Unlike other off-the-shelf solutions, we co-develop AI-powered procurement solutions with our clients, tailoring them to their specific business challenges, processes and data environments. Our platforms are highly flexible and integration-ready for ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft and Sage,” said Sachdeva.

3. Agentic AI for Future Enterprises

Looking ahead, C-Labs has created its own portfolio of AI agents for procurement and financial activities, which are intended to supplement business teams by automating difficult workflows, producing insights, and facilitating speedier decision-making. These domain-specific intelligent digital agents will put South African businesses at the forefront of the next wave of self-sufficient, intelligent business processes.

A New Generation of Transformation Partners.

According to Sachdeva, Cogniviti Labs’ growth into South Africa is more than just geographic; it underscores the growing desire for a new breed of transformation partners who combine strategic consultancy knowledge, deep enterprise technology expertise, and AI-powered innovation.

“South African organisations are entering a new era of transformation where the question is no longer whether they should adopt AI, but how quickly they can turn it into measurable business value,” said Manav Sachdeva, Managing Director, Cogniviti Labs South Africa.

“What distinguishes Cogniviti Labs is that we combine the strategic thinking of a global consulting firm, the execution skills of a technology partner, and the innovation attitude of an AI company. We are not here to just implement software; rather, we are here to collaborate with businesses to solve complex business challenges, co-create intelligent solutions, and help shape the future of procurement and finance.

“After working with some of Africa’s largest organizations for the past two decades, I believe the continent has a fantastic potential to skip traditional transformation journeys and become a leader in AI-enabled business operations. Our objective is to bring global innovation, deep industry expertise, and practical AI solutions to African businesses.
