Tyms AI today announced the debut of its human-first AI platform, designed to assist medium and large enterprises operate their operations more quickly and intelligently. The platform combines AI software and intelligent agents to conduct day-to-day tasks in finance, sales, marketing, customer support, compliance, and other areas, allowing people to focus on judgment-driven work that delivers business results.
Tyms is built on a single principle: people, not AI, provide the wisdom, judgment, and taste that propel organizations ahead. Whereas most AI products offer the technology as a replacement for human labor, Tyms positions it as an engine that eliminates monotonous tasks and propels teams toward their objectives.

Rwakatungu brings almost two decades of technology to Tyms. He worked as a software engineer and architect on MTN’s Mobile Money platform, founded mBet, a Ugandan startup that grew into betPawa, one of Africa’s largest sports betting companies, and founded Xente, a pioneering licensed fintech that serves thousands of corporate customers and processes millions of dollars in payments.
He co-founded Tyms alongside Arron Cleary, a prominent angel investor in African firms such as Yobante Express, Asaak, Badili, and Rocket Health, as well as an early supporter of Xente. Together, the Ugandan creator and his Australian co-founder present an operator’s and an investor’s perspective on what businesses require to implement AI.
